Continuing
Education and C.P.R. Classes
We are pleased to announce continuing
education events each semester; please see our continuing
education flyer to learn more about current workshops and events.
Brand new to our studio is C.P.R. training. We can customize C.P.R.
training for Adults, Children and Infants, as well as groups that
need A.E.D. certification.
Yoga
We are always expanding our Yoga
offerings to better serve you. We currently offer a variety of Yoga
classes including our new Christian
Yoga offering. Please see our registration
form to register for any of these classes.
Tai Chi
While the ancient roots of Tai Chi
Chuan (Grand Ultimate Fist) are in the martial arts, tai chi movements
are never aggressive; instead, they are based on shifting body weight
through a series of light, controlled movements that flow rhythmically
together into one long, graceful gesture. In this introductory course,
Dr. Tim Thompson will teach you how to combine flowing gestures
with the healing tai chi technique of core breathing to express
yourself through "meditation in motion.” Please Please

Community
Involvement

projects we are currently active in supporting:

Pilates Circuit
We continue to expand our Pilates
offerings and currently offer both Wunda Chair classes and Pilates
Circuit training. This format includes tower, Wunda Chair, Spine
Corrector, stability ball, and other small props. This is a fantastic
way to do a variety of Pilates training in one session. Please see

Free
Fundamental of Pilates and Yoga
Check out our FREE Fundamentals of
Pilates and Yoga classes. We offer these classes to the community
to encourage prospective students to learn more about the Pilates
and Yoga with no cost commitment. Call the studio for dates on upcoming
classes, or visit our calendar.

Nutrition
Offerings
We've added Andrea Loomis, a holistic nutritionist
to our staff. We are offering free 20-minute initial consultations
with her. She also offers 10 week nutrition packages, as well as
the Ion Cleanse Detoxifying Foot Bath. Click

Women's
Retreat
Our
second annual women's health retreat featuring Women's Fitness,
Stress Management, De-cluttering Your Life for Better Health, Self-Protection
and Safety and Healthy Eating was held November
4, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The retreat was held
in Upper Marlboro, at the Show Place Arena (Marlborough Equestrian
Center.) Our expert presenters talked with
attendees about
the most current modalities to
mind, body, and spirit! We will
have offer seated massage, reflexology, door prizes, and more! To

flyer. The goal of this
retreat was to introduce clients
to products and services. Our goal was to encourage attendees to
make a
commitment toward taking good care of "self"
and to connect them with members of the community. We sponsored
a local charity "Community Support Services" and are happy
to report that $470.00 was donated to their efforts.
Personal
Training
Personal Training sessions are provided
to assist clients who are working on equipment or with free
weights in terms of proper form and stretch techniques. Trainers
will demonstrate or provide
assistance with spotting and controlling weights when necessary.
Trainers will provide a personal
“work out” card for clients to follow when they are
working independently. Personal
